| Prayer Day: Saturday 8th November 2008 |
||||||
|
This
is a special, annual meeting for focused prayer on the work
of the mission. The Prayer Day will be held at our UFM Glasgow office
at 11 Newton Place, Glasgow, G3 7PR (free parking on Newton Place), from
10am until 12 noon. Coffee will be served at the beginning from 9.30am.
The Prayer Day brings together loyal and committed supporters
from all over the country, but in particular the City of Glasgow
and surrounding areas. The meeting is, however, open to all friends
who value the opportunity of praying, in fellowship alongside other
believers, for the advance of our Lord's kingdom. All who gather recognise
the vital importance of UFM's missionary endeavour in the twenty-first
century. As a Mission we believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer.
It is therefore our responsibility as well as our privilege to pray,
and we bear testimony to the fact that we have known the blessings
of prayers answered. Do join with us on the day when all over the world,
UFM workers, supporters and friends take themselves to God in prayer,
making intercession for the needs of the mission, as well as offering
up praise and thanksgiving for the received blessings of his grace,
love and mercy.
