Annual Scottish Weekend Conference: 18th - 20th April 2008
	We look forward to hosting our 2008 conference at the Atholl Centre in Pitlochry, Perthshire.  The Bible readings will be given by Rev Richard Myerscough, Minister of Pontefract Evangelical Church and Vice Chairman of the UFM Council.  Missionary reports will be given by Andrew and Cora King, Florianópolis, Brazil; Laura Sanlon, Barcelona, Spain; and Tomasz Kucharski, Police, Poland.  Full details about the costs and arrangements for Day Visitors will appear on this website once they have been finalised.  In the meantime any enquiries should be made to Iain Cameron or Janice Brown at the Glasgow office; telephone 0141 353 0666 or e-mail iain@ufm.org.uk
Annual Scottish Rally: Friday 3rd October 2008
	Our annual Rally will start at 7.30pm and will include praise, thanksgiving and fellowship.  We also look forward to hearing missionary reports from our UFM missionaries serving in different parts of the world. This event is an ideal opportunity to find out more about UFM, as well as a challenge and an encouragement to be involved in the work of mission. Tea and coffee will be served immediately after the Rally.  The venue has still to be confirmed.
Called to Serve Weekend: 31st October - 2nd November 2008
	Engaging with World Mission' - get the facts; ask the questions; think through mission issues; engage with missionaries. If you are seriously interested in mission come along for the weekend or for the day on Saturday and find out more. This national conference is organised by our staff in UFM headquarters, Swindon. It is designed to be a source of help, information, encouragement and motivation for those considering short or long-term mission service. As well as Bible teaching being on offer, Peter Milsom, Director of UFM, along with several experienced missionaries, will be available for private, informal and confidential consultation. "Called to Serve" takes place this year in Hebron Hall, Dinas Powys, Cardiff, CF64 4YB. Prayer Day: Saturday 8th November 2008
	This is a special, annual meeting for focused prayer on the work of the mission. The Prayer Day will be held at our UFM Glasgow office at 11 Newton Place, Glasgow, G3 7PR (free parking on Newton Place), from 10am until 12 noon.  Coffee will be served at the beginning from 9.30am. The Prayer Day brings together loyal and committed supporters from all over the country, but in particular the City of Glasgow and surrounding areas. The meeting is, however, open to all friends who value the opportunity of praying, in fellowship alongside other believers, for the advance of our Lord's kingdom. All who gather recognise the vital importance of UFM's missionary endeavour in the twenty-first century. As a Mission we believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer. It is therefore our responsibility as well as our privilege to pray, and we bear testimony to the fact that we have known the blessings of prayers answered. Do join with us on the day when all over the world, UFM workers, supporters and friends take themselves to God in prayer, making intercession for the needs of the mission, as well as offering up praise and thanksgiving for the received blessings of his grace, love and mercy.
