Annual Scottish Rally: Friday 2nd October 2009

Our annual Rally will be held once again at Sandyford Henderson Memorial Church of Scotland, 13 Kelvinhaugh Street , Glasgow , G3 8NU .  As usual the evening will start at 7.30pm and will include praise, thanksgiving and fellowship.  We look forward to: hearing Andy share about his ministry in Eastern Europe; a report on the Brittany Summer Team 2009; and finally David and Bertha Barnes speaking about their ministry in Iquitos, Peru.  David will draw the evening to a close with a message from the Word of God.  Tea and coffee will be served after the Rally during a time of informal fellowship.  Parking should be readily available on the side streets near the church.  The Rally is an ideal opportunity to find out more about UFM, as well as a challenge and an encouragement to be involved in the work of mission.

Prayer Day: Saturday 14th November 2009

This is a special, annual meeting for focused prayer on the work of the mission. The Prayer Day will be held at Sandyford Henderson Memorial Church, 13 Kelvinhaugh Street, Glasgow, G3 8NU (free parking on side streets nearby), from 10am until 12.30pm.  There will be a break for coffee from 11-11.15am. The Prayer Day brings together loyal and committed supporters from all over the country, but in particular the City of Glasgow and surrounding areas. The meeting is open to everyone who values the opportunity of praying, in fellowship alongside other believers, for the advance of our Lord's kingdom.  All who gather recognise the vital importance of UFM's missionary endeavour in the twenty-first century.  As a mission we believe wholeheartedly in the power of prayer. It is therefore our responsibility, as well as our privilege, to pray, and we bear testimony to the fact that we have known the blessings of prayers answered.  Do join with us on the day when all over the world, UFM workers, supporters and friends come before God in prayer, making intercession for the needs of the mission, as well as offering up praise and thanksgiving for the received blessings of his grace, love and mercy.
